Lucy Folan is a graduate of Fashion Design from the National College of Art and Design. (2022) Since graduating from university her research has centred around experimental textiles production and techniques. In 2023, on a residency in Prato, Lucy looked at garment recycling practices and sustainable textiles production. Her collections have been sold in Dublin stores including Om Diva and Bow & Pearl and have been worn by musicians such as CMAT and Pippa Molony. In 2024, Lucy was named in The Irish Times 'One's to Watch', for her role in fashion and textiles in Ireland. In 2024 Lucy began working as a textiles design for Workingmenblues, Amsterdam, specialising in embroidery and sequin design.
